Just Another Story is a hardcore survival server where you play a life in a world that keeps on moving. You're born into a family with unique traits to offer, you improve skills as you eventually grow old and die, and then when you're unbanned generations later the world has changed.
- Hidden lifespan: You're born, you age from child to elder, and you never know how long you have. Deaths are injuries that cost lifespan, not your items. When it runs out, you're banned until the next revival.
- Rebirth: Every so often everyone who died is reborn into a new life, and the season changes.
- Families: You're born into a player family as a baby with parents and siblings, or you found your own. Families bond for boosts, and your family name shows up in every message.
- Traits: Every life rolls different traits, good and bad, like mining faster, being taller or jumping higher. No two lives play the same.
- Skills: You start bad at everything, from mining to enchanting. Specialize to unlock perks, and work with others for the rest.
- Seasons: Spring, summer, fall and winter change day length, crops, mobs and weather. Freeze in the winter cold.
- A world with weight: Hidden coordinates, 1:1 nether, regional ores and mobs, fresh food with buffs, player-named locations and towns.
- Ages: Big features like The End open and close over time, so the world has history.
