Just Another Lifesteal is a hardcore-based lifesteal server based around the ideals of players controlling who lives, dies, and grows stronger. It includes a player-driven economy (no buying/selling to the server), unique lifesteal mechanics, and ways to revive the fallen.

Notable mechanics include:
- Kill someone to drop their head. Eat that head to gain soul power, once you get enough soul power you gain an extra heart. Someone's soul power is based on playtime and how many achievements they get
- An economy entirely based around the players. You cannot buy or sell directly to the server, only other players, and you get money for completing achievements, or small amounts when playing online or when you've been away.
- Once a head is eaten, kill that player to retrieve all heads they've consumed to get your friends back
- Revive friends by building a herobrine shrine, paying money, and placing a head there, to bring back the fallen.

The server is semi-anarchy, no cheating/hacking, but you can do whatever you like in the world.
