VESPERMC — A LIFESTEAL SMP THAT ACTUALLY STAYS FAIR
VesperMC is a Minecraft network built around Lifesteal SMP, the survival mode where every fight matters. Kill another player and you take one of their hearts. But unlike most Lifesteal servers, we don't let players get fully eliminated — everyone has a minimum of 5 hearts, no matter how many fights they lose. That one rule changes everything: you can still get punished hard for losing, but you're never locked out of the game because of a bad day. It keeps the tension of Lifesteal without turning the server into a graveyard of banned accounts three days after launch.
HOW IT WORKS
Every kill takes a heart from your target. Lose enough fights and you'll be running around with the bare minimum, which is exactly the point — it should feel risky. Win fights and you build up a real advantage. Nobody is ever truly "out," so the server stays populated and the economy, bases, and community keep growing instead of bleeding players every week.
FAIR PLAY, ACTUALLY ENFORCED
A Lifesteal server lives or dies on trust. If people think cheaters are getting away with it, they leave — so we run an active staff team and a strict no-cheating policy. Combat logging, using alt accounts to stockpile hearts, and teaming up past the clan size limit are all against the rules and get punished. Advertising other servers, exploiting bugs, and chargebacks carry serious consequences, up to a permanent IP ban. We'd rather have a smaller, trustworthy player base than a big one full of people gaming the system.

STAFF
We're always looking for players who want to help keep the server running smoothly. Applications are open to anyone 14 or older. The process includes an interview and a trial period before anything's official — we want staff who are genuinely helpful and level-headed, not just active.
