CubeRealm is a fantasy themed SMP/RPG Server where the players build the adventures they play and write lore for those who come after.

Aside from the standard SMP playstyle, you can set out on adventures with the countless quests scattered throughout the world, establish shops, trade for unique items, start a faction and set it's own laws. Aside from experiencing the world, players are encouraged to add to it by building their own quests and adding to the lore of our world.

One of our core philosophies is that players shouldn't need to type commands in chat to do things in Minecraft. Despite some extensive backend plugins, we believe the player should not need to memorize a list of commands. Teleports are places you travel to, shops are npc's you interact with, quests / transportation / mail and all our other systems are designed to feel like natural parts of Minecraft's world. With only a handful of exceptions (mainly around chat itself) if you want to do something, there should be a way to do it in-game without typing a command. (It's possible we took too many cues from WoW)

We originally ran from 2010-2018 and we've relaunched the world Rather than starting over, we've expanded beyond the old borders, preserving years of player history while opening up untouched terrain and all the content modern Minecraft has added since.
