Banking and Getting Mugged
Your cash is split between your Wallet and your checking account. Keeping a ton of cash on you is basically asking to get mugged, so you'll want to head to a bank early. Player-run banks pay interest on your savings, though you're trusting another player with your money. If you prefer zero risk, the government-controlled central bank won't pay interest, but it won't go bankrupt either. You can also use debit cards at ATMs, but be careful—if you get killed carrying your card, your killer can try to hack into it and steal your funds.
Degrees and Careers
You don't just type a command and magically get a high-paying job here. You actually have to go to the university, study, and pass exams to unlock different professions. Jobs fall into White Collar, Blue Collar, Government, and Criminal categories. You can hold a few different types at once, but you can't work for the government and run a criminal job on the side.
Businesses and Taxes
Want to run the show yourself? Players can create businesses, which act as their own legal entity. Businesses can be added to chest shops to allow customers to pay a business account that certain people can later access. Businesses can automatically pay employees, hold money, and overall make managing a growing enterprise less of a hassle by letting others access certain features of your business. All permissions are customizable by the business owner to allow fine-tune control.
The Wilderness
When you need a break from city life, type /wild to jump into raw survival territory. You can gather materials, build, and play classic Minecraft out here. Just remember that city laws don't apply in the wild, so anything you build can be griefed.
Crime and the Justice System
Crime is pretty lucrative, but the police system has real teeth. Cops can issue warrants, perform searches, use K9 units, seize assets, and send you through actual court trials and prison time. You can rob ATMs, gas stations, banks, or trade illegal contraband. New players get a 48-hour safety window where they can't be robbed or mugged, giving you time to get your footing before taking any big risks.
The Fire System
Crashed cars and intentionally set fires don't just burn out on their own. Once a fire starts, it stays burning indefinitely until an active firefighter physically shows up and puts it out. If no firefighters are around, that charred spot isn't going anywhere.
Vehicles, Guns, and Health
We have custom cars with realistic collision physics, so crashing actually matters. Firearms feature realistic recoil, attachments, and audio effects like bullet whizzing when shots pass near you. On top of that, the server cycles through four distinct seasons and uses a custom medical system with diseases, cures, and potential biological attacks. Eating too much meat?(Steak, pork etc.) This will also affect your health in the long run, maintaining a variable diet will help you stay healthy for longer!
First Steps When You Join
Connect with play.valoryncraft.com and you'll spawn in the park near City Hall. Walk right into the Fire Station and click the NPC to grab your Starter Kit. You only get one kit ever, so don't lose your basic tools and food. Next, head over to the VCB Tower (Valoryn Central Bank) to deposit your cash so it's safe. After that, head to the university to get a job.
