Tally is a money server, and the whole thing is one race for net worth. It's open now as a free alpha. The alpha ends with a real Final Tally on Friday 13 November 2026 at 8pm UK time. Everything resets after that, and Season 1 starts on Saturday 14 November 2026. Alpha progress does not carry over, so this fortnight is for learning how it works before the season that counts.
You start on a small floating rock with a pickaxe. Every block you mine sells the moment it breaks, so you earn from the first swing. You grow the rock into a bigger plot. Nodes on it regrow and keep paying. There are ten node slots, and each node has ten tiers. Licences open the richer mines.
Your pickaxe goes to Efficiency 10 and Fortune 5. Three marks (Seam sense, Steady hand and Gold nose) make it better at finding lucky seams and golden ore. The pickaxe shows how far you've got. Its grade runs from Plain through Etched, Banded, Gilded, Jewelled and Echoing up to Tallied, and each grade is drawn on the head. Every book you close adds a coloured wrap to the handle.
The Wilds are where you go for echo shards and richer ore. The further out you go the more it pays, and you have to get it home to bank it. The rich list updates as you play. It shows who's just above you and how much it takes to pass them. A crew shares one plot, and crews race each other every week for keys. Rush hours are 7pm and 9pm UK, and pay is doubled then.
When the Final Tally hits, net worth freezes. The top ten are read out, and their names go in the Record Hall for good, with statues for the top three.
