Minestead is a survival multiplayer server on hard difficulty. There aren't any pay-to-win ranks or store, land claims, or teleporting. Play survival like it used to be!

Join a town to play with others or venture into the wild to build on your own. There's just a few tweaks to make vanilla more fun for multiplayer:

Instead of teleporting, use a compass to view and share your lodestones with others using a custom GUI right in vanilla. Public lodestones show up on the world map.

Speed up your building by choosing a painting or stripping logs in the stonecutter. You can also use it to make mini blocks for decoration and get mob heads as loot.

Make your base and farms more peaceful by using a "silence" name tag on mobs. Shulkers also drop two shells so you can spend less time end city raiding.

No mods and only a few plugins means Minestead can update faster, giving our community the latest biomes, mobs, and blocks before other servers.

When you first join Minestead, you'll be in guest mode and can't build, mine, or use items. Read the rules and instructions at spawn to get full access to the server.
